About us
Grizzly Bear Catering is a fresh, creative family run catering business based in Bleasby, Nottingham. With two generations experience in special events catering, food development, restaurant kitchens and service, we have the expertise to cater for any event, of any size in a traditional or more contemporary style. We craft bespoke menus, service and style every time to make your event truly unique; always planned and overseen by James Wright, we pride ourselves in attention to detail and the personal service we provide across Nottingham and the East Midlands.
Who We Are
James has over 20 years experience in the hospitality industry, working in restaurants and hotels around Nottingham for many years. In 2006 James graduated from Birmingham College of Food with BSc 1st class degree in Food and Consumer Management leading to work in food development and cookery demonstrations with celebrity chefs around the East Midlands. James spent 5 years managing corporate catering at some prestigious sites such as Aston Martin, Mercedes Benz and Caterham Racing. As well as running Grizzly Bear Catering James lectures in Professional Cookery Diploma at Nottingham College.
Our beliefs
We like to source our ingredients locally when possible and have a network of wonderful local suppliers who we trust to provide us with the freshest and highest quality of ingredients for us to work with. We don't believe in buying in products, so everything is made from scratch and cooked with love, served by our friendly team who always provide the highest level of service.
